ICEPT is an annual international convergence of experts and researchers since 2005, to showcase the outcomes of their work in any subdivision of Electrical/Electronic Engineering and other allied disciplines The conference begins on the first day with the Institute marking the World Standards Day, consisting of seminars/workshops by speakers who are practitioners; Days 2 & 3 are for conference technical activities and exhibitions.

The NIEEE uses the opportunity to hold its Annual General Meeting on Day 4.
