Engr. Joseph Sunday Adebayo, FNSE, FNIEEE

Engr J.S. Adebayo started his Engineering career in October, 1990 when he was admitted into Kwara State Polytechnics, Ilorin, to study electrical and electronic engineering and later in to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State where he bagged Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1999.

He was posited to Ekiti State for the compulsory National Youth Service Corp. The place of primary assignment was National Electric Power Authority (NEPA), District Office, Ado-Ekiti. .

As a Safety Electrical Engineer with Boab Nigeria Limited (Lighting Eliminators & Construction Engineering the then Sole Representative in Oil & Gas industries of LEC, Colorado, USA in Nigeria) from January, 2001 to December, 2004, the company took him through installation of LEC-DAS lightning protection system for oil and gas industries and telecommunication industries, like ExxonMobil, Shell, ChevronTexaco, NNPC and its Subsidiaries and some NEPA locations.

Engr Adebayo also worked as a Project Engineers with West of Mines Limited (Miners, Engineers, and Consultants & General Merchants Providing Consultancy Services to Baob Nigeria. He currently works with the Electrical Unit, Works Department, University of Ilorin, as a Senior Electrical Engineer since October, 2008 and presently a Chief Electrical Engineer. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (NIEEE) and registered with COREN. He had risen to the post of Chairman NSE, Ilorin Branch.   

Engr J.S. Adebayo is presently a Co-opted Member of the National Executive Committee of the NIEEE and is a Fellow of the Institute; A practicing Christian, married and blessed with three children.
